❝ Stephanie Perkins' Book Signing Tour (070614)

Last year, My mom gave me money to buy anything that i want. I decided to go to the nearest bookstore and search for a new book to read. While i'm riding on the Jeepney, I can't help but to think of a book i'm going to buy. but the book that i can only think of is Anna and the French Kiss & Lola and the Boy Next Door.
While reading the book a few months back, I stopped for a while and checked my facebook for a minute. I was reading every post on it when i saw NBS posted a photo that Stephanie is coming to Manila for a booksigning tour. I literally freaked out and immediately told my bestfriend about it and she did the same thing! She already finished the book via Ebook, so she saved up to buy the paperback while i gave her a new copy of Lola I don't know if she feel elated about it, though. (well she have to, or else... kidding!) Until the day i was waiting for comes, My Bestfriend and I woke up early to leave our house at 6am. I arrived there 30 minutes before 7. Technically, the line was really long when we arrived that time. Then, we waited there for like, 4 hours before the registration start. We used my laptop to kill time. while waiting in line, all of the people around us started to scream and we looked around and saw Stephanie waving at us inside her car! I got teary eyed!! and when we came back to NBS, we have to wait for another 3 hours before the event to start. Me and my bestfriend sat near to the big electric fan. We wanted to find a good spot where we can see stephanie clearly, but when we got there the whole place is a little crowded already. I used my laptop again to kill time and played Plants vs. Zombies That was the moment i became edgy, my heart is pounding and i have to fight the heat. I'm a bit claustrophobic but i tried my best not to get irritated just to see Stephanie. After a few minutes, we heard a loud scream and there she is! Wearing a cute green/white dress, a cute boots (which was inspired by St.Clair!) and a heart necklace! Her smile is so beautiful! I saw her husband too, standing beside her with a winsome smile. My bestfriend nudged me and i already know what it means so... hahahaha! The talking session went for an hour, My legs are numb already when it ended. She talked a little about her personal life (Stephanie and Jarrod's love strory is so sweet! I thought that kind of story only happens on books!) and about Anna, Etienne, Lola and Cricket and a lot more! She also talked about Isla. Speaking of Isla, (the third book of Stephanie will be out at August 14!) the early birds who stayed for almost 24 hours got a chance to have Isla and the Happily Ever After book! They're so lucky, however, by looking at them i know how happy and tired they are. I wonder what will happen on that book? I am so excited! So August, please, Come fast! and when it ends, the booksigning starts. Since we're on the 133rd spot, we searched for an open space to sit so we can rest for a minute. It was just a few minutes when we got confused when people are getting insane near us and we realized, Jarrod, WAS THERE! HE JUST PASSED IN FRONT OF US! We hurriedly stood up and fall in a line since he's also signing the books, since the line was really long already, we have no choice but to wait. Unfortunately, our numbers got called while we're on the line. We're like 30 people near at him, It's really sad to leave the line but we have too. (but hey, at least we're going to Steph's!) I met the guy and the two girls who sat with us earlier at the line. I wanted to talk with them, but it feels wrong when if i start blabbing or introduce myself when they're not interested. It's even more rude if i intrude while they're talking. It is really embarrassing to admit but when i'm nervous, i always get anxiety attacks. I was shaking like crazy, but i tried to calm down and it was gone for a while. But when i'm in front of her, another attack came! I was cold as a freezer, I think i look pale for a moment. I told her "Hi." then she smiled at me and started to sign my books, then she asked me "How long have you been staying in the line outside?" I told her i was there around 6am. then she started to smile again and said, "Oh my God!. Thank you so so much for staying. I mean, Wow! Thank you!" I was supposed to tell her It was all worth it, but i got speechless so i hugged her instead. then while we're hugging, she pats my back and said "Thank you, Thank you so much." I don't know, I should be the one who's saying that but it makes my heart melt to hear it from my favourite author. then we started to take a picture, i wanted to lean at her but UGH my hands are so cold i think it froze because i can't move it properly (WEIRD I KNOW) 
it's so unfair, the guy who's taking our picture didn't took a shot while we're hugging!
i was expecting that, to be honest.
then after that, i walked down the stage and waited for my bestfriend who's having her turn.We went home after we got out books signed since i have to go home at muntinlupa first before going to taguig. (and it's getting late already) We really wanted to stay a little longer so we can get our books signed my Jarrod, but then i thought about the upcoming Principle of Tourism Quiz i'll have, I decided not to. (I'm so dumb for not bringing my reviewers, ugh) We're so tired i can't even speak, i still can't recover at anything that happened that day. then i also realized after that day i didn't do my Sanitation and Math homework. It's one of a hell day but i'm still happy because of my encounter with Stephanie.
For Stephanie, I should be the one thanking you. Thank you so much for bringing the most amazing characters into life by writing them into a book. Thank you for being an inspiration. Thank you for everything. See you soon!
